Revival I.T recycling specialises in the secure computer disposal computer recycling and IT / Electronics recycling and IT disposal services. We have the knowledge and skills to offer secure computer recycling and computer disposal solutions to suit any business, companies, colleges, schools, NHS Trusts, charities and individual needs. We provide IT recycling and computer disposal of all IT equipments and computers, in line with current WEEE Regulation introduced in January 2007.

We aim to prevent WEEE going to landfill by encouraging its reuse, recycling and recovery so as to minimise its disposal. To achieve this, we adhere to a system which provides for the management of WEEE using best available treatment, recovery and recycling techniques so to prevent anything going to landfill.
The cornerstone of our IT recycling and computer disposal activities is to ensure that such operations are carried out in such a way that environmentally-sound re-use and recycling of components or whole computers and IT equipment is not hindered, taking into account not only safety but also environmental considerations and the desirability of reuse and recycling. To this end, we prioritise the reuse of used and old computers or IT equipment and their components, subassemblies and consumables.
Data destruction
Revival I.T recycling do not copy or retain or even view any data found on any media received.
All Computer Hard Drives, NAS Drives, Flash Drives and Optical media such as CD’s and DVD’s are securely wiped through a triple layer formatting and rewriting process to British HMG IS5 Enhanced Infosec Standards upon receipt.
Once the data has been wiped, manual security scans are carried out on all media so as to ensure that no data, hidden or otherwise, can be retrieved.
In the case of Personal Computer hard drives, these are then re-mounted and re-installed with the Manufacturers factory based operating system which completes a further hard drive format prior to installation.
